Class Description:
Solve the mystery of accessible forms once and for all!
Forms can be some of the most challenging types of documents to make accessible. Regardless of whether you are starting with a source file or PDF, forms will have you scratching your head.
The majority of the issue comes from the multiple steps needed to make forms meet accessibility requirements. We will give you a solid understanding of the limitations and capabilities of the current authoring software and a step-by-step method for creating accessible PDF forms from InDesign, Word, and Acrobat.
We will show you how Adobe InDesign is uniquely geared for creating accessible forms without having to do work inside the PDF document once exported. We will also cover the steps needed to create accessible forms when Microsoft Word or a flat PDF file are the sources.
Cut through the confusion, gain real-world experience from a variety of common and complex form layouts, and leave with the ability to create accessible fillable input fields and forms every time!
