Accessibility |
Accessibility refers to the design and delivery of products, devices and services so that all people can use them regardless of ability. Ease of use should be equivalent for all people. |

ADHD |
Acronym for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. |
|
Alternative Text (Alt text) |
Text that is attached to a figure or image that is read by a screen reader. This describes the photo to the user. |

Audio Description |
Also referred to as descriptive audio or described video, audio description is an additional audio track that describes visual information audibly. |

Color Contrast Ratio |
The visual difference between two colors. To follow WCAG, text and background need to have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal sized text (below 18.66px) and 3:1 for large text (above 18.66px) and meaningful elements such as informative graphics. Screen Reader |
A device commonly used by people who are blind or visually impaired. A screen reader uses text and code to verbally describe what is on the computer screen. |
