Different Types of Digital Assets

The need for accessibility affects almost every aspect of our digital work and communications, everything from our brand to our project-level work. Incorporating digital accessibility best practices reduces the access-to-information barriers and issues.

When considering your portfolio, did you know that the following list of assets should be optimized for digital accessibility?

  • Content, copy, and assets files, including images, videos, podcasts, audio, and more
  • Branding including logos, style guide, color palette, and more
  • Work assets and marketing collateral, including documents, reports, presentations, PDFs, and more, created using:
    • Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Google suite: Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. 
    • Apple suite: Pages, Numbers, Keynote, etc.
    • Adobe suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.
  • External communications such as emails, newsletters, event invites, social media posts, and more
